very good cars but a Ferrari is always a Ferrari even if it is the last of the race

  2. ownagemaximus2 - December 5th, 2006 at 4:59 pm

Yeah and plus GTR got 2nd best lap even with the speed limiter on it defeated the 430 and the gt2 the lambo was the only one faster and if it didn’t have the speed limiter it would’ve easily got the best lap.

  3. byffonwrx - December 7th, 2006 at 12:49 am

I just really feel like they never get the most out of the GT2

  4. tomtom255 - December 7th, 2006 at 1:56 am

Couldn’t agree more with you, the GTR and the GT2 have to be the most uninspiring sounding supercars ever, meanwhile the lambo and the ferrari’s are pretty much the best sounding cars known to mankind.

GT2=Michelin Pilot sports cup(Semi slick racing) tires used.

Speed limiter GT-R=Run flat tire used.

    GT2 was completely defeated.

The Nur lap time measurement of GT-R that Porsche sponsored neglected the pre-conditioning interim operation and maintenance. Porsche apologizes to Nissan for this complaint. (GT-R developer’s Mr. Mizuno testified to the fact that the person in charge of
Porsche of the Nur test had apologized.)

pure sound of whinning ferarri..love it!!

  8. mundom - December 14th, 2006 at 6:42 am

The GT-R and GT 2 sound like shit. I would choose the 430 every time.

  9. LightWithoutHeat - December 16th, 2006 at 8:01 pm

It would be interesting to see this battle again, but with the GT-R’s speed limiter removed (as shown at 2:31) exceeding 205 km/h is prudent in a ‘supercar battle’

  10. porsche911TT - December 17th, 2006 at 11:57 am

First of all there is a grey area regarding which tires Nissan used in these “record” runs on the Nurburgring, also suspension setup etc…. Porsche’s test drivers could only do about 20sec slower!! Secondly, your argument does not explain how a gtr can pass a gt2 in a straight line like in the vid, if you have proof of a vid where that happens please let me know. See “ZR1 Drag Race King-Spanks gtr, 599 and gt2″. Unfortunately I still think these jap vids are staged

  11. t734ry32 - December 19th, 2006 at 12:25 pm

GT2 defeated at GT-R that doesn’t cut the speed limiter, there is no winning?chance. porsche911TT LOSE!!!

  12. t734ry32 - December 19th, 2006 at 11:10 pm

    Nur lap time
    GT-R(08 Model)=7:29
    GT2=7:32

09 model and NISMO Club sports and specs-V are faster.
    Porsche was completely defeated!

  13. jdydbgdsy - December 23rd, 2006 at 2:58 am

the GT2, Scuderia and the LP are very simillar..the GTR is chipper but also slower in straights and corners (Alan Prost said and test this four cars). The LP was the fastest in the straitghs but in any circuit, the Scuderia is superior.

  14. niqueed - December 26th, 2006 at 1:26 pm

    lambo lp kiss ass!!!!

  15. mechdebaser - December 28th, 2006 at 8:06 pm

It shouldn’t pass the GT2 if the GT-R is all stock.

  16. porsche911TT - January 1st, 2007 at 12:24 am

Can’t agree with you more, it seems in these jap vids that they are out to prove the porsches wrong, they probably put their worst driver in the gt2 and the best one in the gtr… gt2 will kill gtr in straight line but on this vid the gtr passes him on the straight…I smell a rat

  17. LMVMXB - January 2nd, 2007 at 3:56 am

    fine for you.

htt om/articles/0000069471/crsm0000000000.jpg The speed limiter starts a 180km/h.

  19. t734ry32 - January 6th, 2007 at 8:45 pm

LMVMXB is ignorant. I understand a Japanese narration.

I remember one Best Motoring Battle where a 355 was beaten by a Accord :S Shame, I love that car too… (and it was a JTCC Honda ;D)

  21. nihonno - January 8th, 2007 at 9:42 am

Appart from certain conditions such as acceleration where I think 20% or so of power is put to the front wheels, the Nissan GTR pretty much puts most of its power to the rear wheels.

  22. PAC3HTK - January 10th, 2007 at 4:24 am

I think the best car of the group is the Ferrari. The best overall would be the GT-R I must admit even though I’m not a big fan. It’s priced half as much as all the others cars but still manages to beat them. But I love the Ferrai, it sounds and looks awsome, and has the alure of a pure sports car. Some one hook me up with 250 Grand so I can pick one up.

  23. preludedriver226 - January 13th, 2007 at 5:04 am

Just watch the driversrepublic analysis of the gtr vs GT2 lap times. The car sits on the power lap times board surrounded by most exotic creations from Europe, the car in question is nearly two and a half times the cost of the gt-r. And for it to even be able to smell the GT2s exhaust around the ring is a testament to what Nissan has done.

  24. preludedriver226 - January 15th, 2007 at 2:55 am

OH yes i agree there should have been a corvette included.

  25. preludedriver226 - January 17th, 2007 at 10:03 pm

Thanks for sharing. AWD is most apparent in the result. I’m sure the drivers are trying their best to race and to not stuff one of those challenge ferraris, or the new scuderia or that insane gt2, all the online sources say its a absolute handful, it scared clarkson half to death if you didn’t notice. I love seeing that 355 challenge out there, 355 revving to just under 9k that’s amazing still! Thanks again for this upload.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  27. Indira Missildine - October 12th, 2010 at 2:27 am

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

  28. ehow - October 15th, 2010 at 3:13 am

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

  30. Latasha Renno - October 21st, 2010 at 5:32 am

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
