cant execute properly??… look at how much money and resources goes to the military… plz u put that into building a better environment by adding electric vehicles and there u go… or you can just tell these retards to click on clickhereforelectricity.exe LMAO

  2. DG121480 - April 27th, 2007 at 5:27 am

It’s a good idea in theory… But the comon man just doesn’t have the resources to execute it properly.

If you add all the resources it takes to make those batteries, including all the chemicals and such you may as well be driving a corvette.

  6. redsoil5 - May 7th, 2007 at 3:57 am

That guy must be tall coz the car looks like a toy when besides him.

i heard ni-cad and ni-mh wet cells are quite affordable

  10. dutchtrucker - May 15th, 2007 at 12:03 am

    Derrrrrr…
The whole point of mid engine is the positioning of the heaviest component in a car ‘the engine’, not the fact that component is an petrol engine! The guy mounted the battery mid, so its achieves the same effect, equal weight on all four corners of the car.

  11. dbgtwill1 - May 17th, 2007 at 3:28 pm

    damn strait

  12. dbgtwill1 - May 19th, 2007 at 3:50 pm

most of the people who do these conversions
    have alt-energy sorce for electricity

  13. tricky778 - May 21st, 2007 at 4:47 am

This car will drive like a mid engine. With batteries in front and behind, the centre of gravity will be in the middle.

  14. emforty2 - May 22nd, 2007 at 12:08 pm

    Lithium=COST

  15. r00tcause - May 22nd, 2007 at 4:57 pm

Eh, Ni-Cad battery based cars are lame. No range and too heavy. Get back to me when its got Lithium.

    Lets hear the motor rev!
    (just a joke).

  17. nickithjuice - May 26th, 2007 at 8:40 pm

well that ruins the whole mid engine idea

  18. joness105639 - May 30th, 2007 at 12:48 am

I hope there is a cover for those batteries back there. strikes me as a bit unwise to leave them out in the weather.

We’re humans, we’re resourceful and creative, and we are not gonna put up with any more bullshit from the “power monopoly”!

Change begins with us, don’t rely on self absorbed politicians to make your life better. Get out and build something for gadsakes.

  22. Moosey1789 - June 4th, 2007 at 6:51 pm

Good point, electropredator, but where’s that groovy gasoline vapor smell and the joy of removing oily grit from your fingernails? You must be a communist beatnik hippie if you don’t drive a Hummer. Gawd.

  23. electropredator - June 5th, 2007 at 6:42 am

another thing a electric car will not need a oil change. 914 Porsche is my favorite model. I heard that the 914 gasoline engine is not really reliable. Hopefully the electric replacement is a better alternative.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

  31. how to - October 15th, 2010 at 5:53 am

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

  34. how to write a resume - October 20th, 2010 at 3:01 am

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
