What’s a good used car to replace a Porsche 944?

porsche

I have a 1985 944 that is just breaking all the time and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of any cars that are kind of the same, but not as expensive to maintain and don’t break as often. I was thinking an Audi Ur-Quattro but they seem like they’ll be just as expensive too.
Thanks for all of your time
(I work on it a lot, it’s just that parts are a bitch and everything keeps breaking. There’s always something to fix)

i think audi is going to be very similar in mainanence costs and repair amounts. I would recommend something like a toyota celica.

If you want a fast car you will have to pay to maintain that expensive car. you should look into learning how to work on your car. Audi’s are expensive to maintain, also.

If you can find a well cared for 3rd generation Honda Prelude, you’ll be surprised how similar a FWD car can be too the Porsche in steering feel and driving position.
