Dude, I come from a family that owns all kinds of exotic cars. My uncle owns or did own the same Porsche that eventually formed this problem. He got rid of it. Sorry.
It could be residual heat inside the vent cavities, or it could be a delay while the system re-calibrates itself (i.e. getting a valid signal from the temperature sender, repositioning the servo motors, etc.)
I wouldn’t necessarily believe that this is a failure, more likely a normal operation.
Sounds like a normal 944 to me. Its residual heat in the venting system.
Porsche venting systems for fresh air sucks and has always sucked–it’s just not the car’s strong point.
I had a sticking heater control valve in my 968 (very similar to the 944) that caused lukewarm air to always blow from the outer dashboard air vents. The valve eventually blew and a new valve fixed the problem. You may have something similar.
If it is your heater control valve, the good news is that it’s fairly cheap ($40 or so) and can be done from the top of the engine. You’ll have to get a couple things out of the way but it took me around 90 minutes and nothing was hard to do.
Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
i didnt know that, is there another article like that? because i really wanna know more about it
Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
