No. That’s all. Just because it sounds pretty, doesn’t mean it’s a name. Good luck~
i think its an adorable name, its original so u dont have to worry about others having the same name. did u create the name urself?? if the name has a meaning behind it, it will be very special 2 the child that is given this name.
I am not too fond of the name….it just seems ok.
Also In spanish it means career.
no offense but it sounds like an std
That is a beautiful name. But it also depends on the baby.
SPELLING WOULD BE A PROBLEM ALL HER LIFE.
ALSO IT’S HARD TO UNDERSTAND.
CIERA IS BETTER. IT’S ALSO A PERFUME NAME.
ya thats good and she could have a baby bro named boxster
Well, I don’t know how to pronounce it, because I don’t know anything about porsches. But there are plenty of women named Mercedes, so why not?
If YOU like the name and it’s for YOU’RE baby then go for it!!
sounds unique, different and fun to me
Carrera means race and/or career in Spanish depending of the context. It will sounds somewhat dumb to Spanish- talking people. Also Carrera is a common last name.
There’s more Latin American people everyday in the world. We are the most hotter people around regarding to that matters. Most Latin Americans love jokes and know how to convince people to laugh and have a party with them. That can be pretty annoying later for your little girl.Think a better name.
For example Selma is a very bad name, it means corpse in Italian.
I choose my little girl babies names based on meanings. One is Araceli who means heavens’ altar and the other Pia who means pious, both in Latin. I am catholic like most Peruvians.
There’s a lot of places in the internet to helps you to find one better name, both by word or meaning.
UMMM… I WOULD SAY NOT A GOOD IDEA.. CARRERA IN ENGLISH MEANS “RACE” IT DOESN’T SOUND THAT PRETTY EITHER
That name is so pretty!!! Very unique.
Jamie
Carrera reminds me of the actress Tea Carrera (not sure of the spelling.) I don’t like this one.
Cute. But difficult to say. I get lost a bit in all the R’s.
I say no.
No. No. No. No.
“Filibuster” sounds nice, but you wouldn’t name a kid after a political gambit.
“Salinity” is a nice word too, but you wouldn’t name a kid after the concentration of salt.
“Hummer” is a strong, masculine name, but you would NEVER name a kid that.
Who wants to be named after a freaking car? What relevance does that have? What’s the meaning? Who are you honouring? No!
Name your child…a children’s…name. It’s that easy.
sounds like a beautiful name.
I think it’s naming a child after a car.
I don’t think that’s a good idea, in the grand scheme of a child’s life.
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
