If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor. The transmission does not operate the same as a manual and it will not over-rev between gears. I would be careful shifting full throttle all the time, since it will put added strain on the drivetrain = more wear and more repairs. When you are driving your car, try using the thumb shifters without lifting the throttle. Your car will act fine and you will not be doing any harm to your car. Good luck and enjoy your Boxster! It is a little more stressfull on the tranny and diff, but these cars are designed to be driven fast. I wouldn't do it all the time, but if you are racing a Honda, then get with it!
