What is the best car wax for a silver 2000 Porsche 911 C2?

Friday 25 July 2008 @ 6:18 am
porsche

It’s not garaged so I need a durable wax. I would also prefer a wax that lasts a long time (so I don’t need to wax every other month). I live in California. Thanks!

What mods can I add to my porsche 944 turbo to add as much power and handling as possible for a low budget?

Friday 25 July 2008 @ 6:05 am
porsche

Everybody says that the 944 turbo has the potential of being blindingly fast if modded. What are the best performance for the money mods I can add for a budget of around $1500? I hear that the 944 turbo has all this potential because it was a race car: so what was the difference between the race car and the street car in terms of engine mods? How can I put it in “race tune”?

1968 porsche 912 felt inner window weatherstrip for door window installation?

Monday 21 July 2008 @ 8:32 pm
porsche

The inner felt seal on the driver’s door window is a simple piece that wedges onto the ridge of metal. The replacement piece I got has an additional rubber lip running along it’s entire length on on the inner side. I have been told that the part was superceded by porsche to this different style, but I am wondering if this is correct. If it is, I am wondering how this rubber lip sits in relation to the piece of trim that goes on the door-window sill (the piece that has a hole in it for the lock button) or if there is another piece that goes in this area. I am just generally wondering about how to install this part correctly and what it should look like when done. I do not have access to the car at the moment to give better description of situation, sorry.
The car is a 912 Targa. I am told the felt seal piece I got also fits many Porsche 911.
