As a bit of more background:

The Jag always has problems and is in the shop about every 2 or 3 mos (last things were shocks, fuel pump, alternator), but it is a classic edition and is ‘mint’ except for a tear in the back seat. Owned it for 3 1/2 yrs.

Mercedes has a rebuilt engine which has been a dream for years, but now tranny is leaking & needs tires. Owned it for 7 yrs. Also mint.

The BMW I got for a steal, but fell asleep at wheel & clipped guy in front of me – dent in front of the hood & fuel pump problems. Owned for 1 1/2 yrs.

In the news today was the story of a guy who got nicked for speeding at 172 mph in a Porsche. Part of his punishment was a 10 week stint at Her Majesty’s pleasure, as they say. A few weeks ago, actor Chris Langholm was effectively handed a 20 week jail term for viewing what was described as ‘child pornography, rape and torture of children’

as it says in the subject…the convertible top is stuck down….when she tried to bring it up, the cover goes up, but not the actual top.
we already checked the fuses and that doesnt do anything

there is no clicking of any sort

any help would be greatly appreciated!
