What automaker do you prefer Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, or BMW?

porsche design

For some reason I love how Volkswagen cars are visually designed, and many Audi’s run on VW platforms. I love Porsche because mechanically, Porsche shares many Audi and VW components. BMW is such an amazingly POPULAR car though, but Mercedes-Benz has a more classy feel, even if it’s known for breaking down. What do you guys think?
Feel free to name specific cars you like?
I also like Porsche and Audi because Porsche is intending to have controlling interest in Volkswagen AG meaning it’ll own all of VW and Audi. I was thinking this could mean Porsche looking VW’s/Audi’s or Audi looking Porsches in th future….IDK

I own an Audi A4 and I would not get it again. And like you said VW shares much of the same engine + tranny as the audi.

My brother owns BMW and I am not impressed either.

    Good Luck…

Audi personally and VWs and Audis don’t share many parts outside of the A3 and A4. An A5,A6,A8, don’t share anything with any VW. The Touraeg and Q7 only share a chassis. The same thing goes with VW and Porsche. Audi shares more stuff with Lamborghini and Bentley(which VW also owns) more than they do with VW.

Blah! I only buy Italian machines so none of those shoebox shaped krautmobiles appeal to me.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
