I am looking at a 2002 Porsche Boxster.I have never owned a car like this.Can anyone tell me about the cost of maintaining one,Is it a prestgious car to own and drive.?Is it a very practical car to own.It will be my second vehicle kind of my drive on my days off car.I currently have a 1998 corvette and I have looked at the 2005 corvettes and they are very high priced.Seems like Chevrolet is out pricing the Avg guy out of the corvette.So maybe a Boxster.

Whilst browsing through a car magazine today I came across this:

It’s the new 911 Gemballa GTR Avalanche. Apart from having a stonking great spoiler sat on the rear there’s also a stonking great engine sat beneath it that develops 750bhp. Good for a pathetic 208mph and 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. Not exactly sure how much the beast will cost, but given its credentials I would assume a lofty amount.

I need a new car and I can’t decide from many choices.I’m not sure if I want a 2-seater, or 4-seat coupe. or what model or anything. here’s what i’ve been looking @:(not in any order)

6. Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice (they’re like the same car)

Put them in order from best to worst (add in any you think would be good). Factor in price, durability, performance, comfort, luxuriousness, and insurance cost

ok ive asked this question everywhere becuase tiem is getting closer for the purchase and i am still not 100% sure. which car is more attractive? guys which do you think looks more attractive from a guys perspective? And girls which would u prefer or which wud turn your head? Taking all features and brand into consideration? many people i talked to 70% have said to buy a porsche boxster because:

its a porsche doesnt get better
its a porsche for a bargain
negative:
looks a bit small
looks a bit girly
some say it looks ugly
but again people say ugliness doesnt matter when u drive a porsche.
BMW Z4:
better interior than porsche
cheaper
will turn more heads than a porsche……..???(true)

it has a small back which makes the car look weak.
runs into problems way too much.

my dad says get the one that looks better becuase i will never drive the car to its fullest performance if i do im in tourble and i respect that. so fine which car is physicaly more attractive
i mean for a guy which is better like fellas whcih oen u wanna be in and ladies which one do u think suits a guy more. yeah the punch line im 16 and according to my dadthis nice car he buys me is the last car he buys me so nexx car i buy is a honda civic in 10 years so i need to choose wisely.

I’m in high school and am going to get my first car soon. Would you recommend the 09′ SLK, the ’09 Boxster, the ’09 Elise, or the ’09 Z4? I know the Elise is probably the most fun yet the most impractical. I am a car expert, but I need outside opinions on what car is most suited for me, here in sunny SoCal. My family already owns a few Mercedes AMGs, so sticking to the SLK would keep with the Mercedes Loyalty. The Porsche, as I understand, is the most fuel efficient. In the end, I want a fast roadster that is safe, comfortable, somewhat (but not TOO) eye-catching, and pretty practical. A car with a good navigation is preferred (although I could just buy one at Best Buy or Target). Customer experience is preferred. Thanks.

PS. DON’T BOTHER saying that as a first car, I should get a Corolla, a Suzuki SX4, or some other old, cheap Japanese sedan or coupe. I already have an ’02 Lincoln V8 to be used for my first 4 months.
