Can doctors really afford lamborghini’s and porsche’s?

porsche

I know their salary’s vary depending on their different fields, so let’s consider a Doc that makes $110,000 a year after taxes….

Not really. Not without extending yourself, at least. A doctor in this position would most likely have had his/her parents pay for med school (so no debt repayment obligations), does a ton of procedures so actually makes a lot more than your $110 (more like $400-500k+), has some serious business smarts and is more than just a physician e.g. involved in administration, or is stupid enough to extend him/herself on something like this.

The Lexus/BMW/Mercedes/Audi group of cars is much more likely.

someones got to buy them cars. and for what they charge . iam sure its not a problem. why do you hava ford pinto.you make what . 8,000 a year. now you know .

  4. Jose V - July 6th, 2009 at 7:36 am

depends on the type of doctor. Its a 1 year salary at the least for the lamborghini. In all reality they probably wouldn’t buy one since they would hardly ever use it.

    Why do you care?

  6. Tushar P - July 9th, 2009 at 8:52 pm

Depends on the doctor lol…If your Prince Charles doctor then definitely but doctors don’t get paid that much….Their probably in the lexus/mercedes and stuff but yea they can afford it…Really odd question mate =).

I know of two doctors that have Ferraris and they race those mothers in the hospital parking lot tower late at night (drifting and what not). So I’m sure doctors can afford Lambos and Porsches. But I think it’s the doctors who specialize in some surgical field.

Yes he could probably afford one on that wage(assuming its US$) if he doesn’t have any large debts or mortgages to pay off and wants to get a loan for one.

    $110,000 a year?! LOL
Doctors make around $500,000 a year.
So yes they can afford a Porche and a Lamborghini
My cousin is a brain surgeon and he makes over 42K a month but he doesn’t have one of those fancy cars he drives a BMW.

Of course some of them can, many of them, why do you think that healthcare is so expensive?

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Can I make a word of advice? I’m sure you’ve got something good above. But suppose you provided a couple links to a site which backs up what you’re you mentioned? Or possibly you could offer us some extra information to check out, something would connect what exactly you were talking about, something more tangible?

It???ê?ès quite fascinating that the mainstream media has changed the way it looks at this lately dont you assume? What once seemed like a in no way discussed problem has become more prevelant. It???ê?ès that time to chagnge our stance on this though.
