I’ll withhold judgment on the Panamera until I see it in person. I currently own a 911 Turbo and I owned an air-cooled 911 coupe previously. The Panamera’s performance will be stellar.

Of course, this will be an expensive car — near the $100,000 mark for the base model. Because the supply is likely to be extremely limited at first, dealers will likely charge big premiums. How big? A brand new Porsche GT2, which lists at $194,000, generally sells in the U.S. for between $250,000 and $300,000.

The Panamera’s interior will be beautiful and extremely functional. You won’[t see “pillow-top” leather seats like those in the big BMWs. Porsche believes that form follows function: they leave out the crap.

I have seen a video test of the car.

Everything about it is amazing except the front hood. I do not like the slight buldge in the hood and would have prefered it to be more flat like the Porsche Carrera GT.

Other than that, inteiror design is beautiful, lots of luxury and leather and great quality and the reliability of a Porsche.

My opinion is that it’s good that Porsche finally bit the bullet and designed a four-door, and a sporty yet functional one at that. Exclusitivity it will definitely have when it comes out in Fall. Design wise, I think it looks good, and I like how it doesn’t have a stupid I-Drive like knob that controls everything. The first ones out are going to be a bit expensive, but next year or so they are coming out with versions that run on the V6 in the Cayenne that should be cheaper. Buy it!

I am a big fan of Porsche since I played the game called Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed. I was 4 years old. Porsche was and is tha bomb! I have a Panamera Poster in my room, I love it! The back is a bit odd but its performance isnt! The headlights are tooken off of the Carrera GT btw. It’s Porsche-Perfect!

Too heavy of a car to compete with 911′s or on the track.

But compared to other luxury sedans being sold, then yes this is a sweet car.

It’s just an ugly streched 911. It just look awkward and awful. If I were you, I’d rather buy Cayenne Turbo S, if you’re planning to buy Panamera Turbo. Cuz it’s cheaper, more power, faster, and looks better. OR any four-door car from Mercedes Benz.

    Hope it helps

I’m not too crazy about it, it looks like a Cayenne ran intot he back of a 911 and then was flattened. I’m not saying it’s not a great vehicle, coming from Porsche it is a great vehicle, just not for me.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
