Ashley’s POV
“It’s OK Jasper. It’s not your fault I forgive you.” I mutter to myself as I am reading the first chapter of New Moon after finishing twilight for the 8th time. Jasper is my favorite character in the Twilight series. I LOVE Jasper. Tiffany, my cousin, also loves Jasper. Tiffany tends to think that her and Jasper are together and are getting married January 22nd, 2009 from 3:00pm-11:00pm at Rosemary Park. And apparently Alice planned her wedding. How do I know this? Well I just got a wedding invitation for her and Jasper in the mail recently. But of course none of this is even true because Jasper is MINE!
‘HONK HONK’ “Huh who was that?” I thought to myself. I got up and looked out the door and saw one of the most awesome things ever in this little boring town Tiffany and I live in. I saw… ALICE’S YELLOW PORSCHE 911 TURBO!!! I squealed again and again until I was out of breath. I ran over to the Porsche to see who the owner was. Tiffany stepped out. I squealed again and she soon joined me. We ran out of breath but that didn’t stop us. We took quick breath and squealed some more while jumping up and down. My neighbor, a very grumpy old lady, came out to see what all the commotion was. The old lady yelled over asking what was going on and we barley heard her over our squeals of joy but we did. Tiffany was the first to answer. “I JUST GOT ALICE’S CAR AND ASHLEY AND ME ARE GOING ON A ROAD TRIP TO FORKS, WASHINGTON AND SEE JASPER AND EDWARD AND EMMETT AND ROSALIE AND CARLISLE AND ESME AND ALICE AND BELLA AND CHARLIE AND –breath- AND JESSICA AND ANGELA AND MIKE –which im going to kill- AND-
“OK TIFFANY!” By then my neighbor was nowhere in sight. “I doubt she even understood you Tiffany.”
“Did you?” She asked.
“YES!!! WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME?!?!?” I yelled at her.
“Well I was gonna tell you but that old lady asked me first. Come on let’s go ask your mom if you can go.” She said while dragging me along inside the house.
“OK but you ask her it will work better.” We got inside and went looking for my mom and her aunt. My mom and her mom are twins so lets hope they think alike and she lets me go. My mom is more overprotective than Tiffany’s. We found her watching TV so we waited for a commercial. When one came on Tiffany muted the TV and gave my mom a serious stare.
“We need to talk Julie” I could tell she was trying very hard to keep a straight face. She almost always cracks up when doing stuff like this but this is way too important to crack up now. “How much do you love me Julie?” She’s copying Alice. I giggled. Tiffany heard me and looked up but thankfully my mom didn’t. Tiffany looked back down and continued. “Well?”
“I love you lots you know that.” Ok well that’s a plus. She’s still confused too. “And do you know that you are my favorite aunt in the whole wide world.” Tiffany said with puppy dog eyes and a pouting lip.
“What do you want?” OK now she’s onto her. Please let this go well I kept saying in my head.
“Well… you know I got an awesome new car right? OK well I did and it’s Alice’s car, but that’s beside the point. My mom is letting me go on a road trip to Forks and I was wondering if Ashley could go?” Now she was is full puppy eyes pouting lip mode. I joined her. My mom thought about it for a minute and then answered.
“I guess but I’m not giving you a lot of money Ash.” And she was serious. But I have a job so I can pay for anything I need.
“What about me?” Tiffany asked my mom. “How much do I get? Do I get more than Ashley since you love me more?”
“Haha very funny” My mom said sarcastically. “So when are you two going?”
“We’re leaving the day after tomorrow.” Yes! I can’t wait!
“And how long will you be staying up there?” I hope we stay a while. Of course we will though Tiffany and me both are completely obsessed with Twilight.
“About one month.” We were now both getting so excited. We could hardly stay still. My mom let us go.
We got in Tiffany’s Porsche and left to her house. “This is so awesome!!” I screamed.
“I know!” Tiffany screamed back. We stopped at a red stoplight. We screamed in excitement. The windows to the Porsche were down and so were the windows to a car next to us. A middle-aged woman in a business suit was giving us a weird look. Tiffany whispered to me. Right before we drove away we both screamed ‘WERE GOING TO FORKS BABY!’ We took off and started cracking up. In about 10 minutes we arrived at Tiffany’s house.

Not good. At all. Sorry. Write about something that hasn’t been mainly based on another’s persons hard work and creativity.
I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
