I saw this private listing for porsche Cayenne S 2008 for $21000. I also saw some more listings of expensive cars for cheap prices.
Any way, if that porsche is true, should I buy that as I am 17 years old.
How is its performance in winter?
Thanks

Probably a scam
probably a scam.
could you tell me by message or answer my question about How and why is the ‘product positioning’ of Porsche Automobiles, please?
Thanks in advance.
don’t do it pal, your goin to screw yourself over with that.
Performance is great in the winter, however this is a really old Craigslist scam. Basically you contact them they’ll say its in a freight yard ready to ship yada yada yada then try to get you to send them a certified bank check.
I’m positive that it’s scam. Don’t buy it until you drive it yourself and check it in a special mechanic.
OR, it’s a “salvage” title: the car has been destroyed and then rebuilt by some shadetree mechanics who figure to make money on a piece of crap. This should be simple to detect: get the VIN (If you can’t, you’re done wasting time.) and check the records with Carfax or similar. Don’t give out any information on yourself doing this, except an email address.
Some accidents won’t make it to the records, but a total loss ought to. If it checks out … I’d still be worried. Maybe it’s easier to just look elsewhere.
though it probably is a scam, if it isnt, then thats a good car to get. i have a porsche cayenne turbo, and it performs well in the winter, though it has the sport tire. the S doesnt, so it should do much better. look around and you will also find a few more like it. also, if you like porsche, look at the boxster, you can get a decent one for around tht price
If you found this on craigslist or some similar site, I am sorry to inform you that it is a scam. No one will sell you a $50,000 car for $21,000, that’s just life. I would still call and ask to drive it, if they say yes great. If they tell you that it’s in a sealed container in Washington state, you’re out of luck. Also, I would get the VIN number and pull up the Carfax report for it.
In this economy, no one is buying cars because they are afraid of losing their jobs.
Everyone is saving.
I am trying to sell my mom’s Honda Accord, which has the book value of $6800. It is in perfect condition and I am selling it for $4900 and no one wants it. People are asking me $2500 for it. If I tried to sell it 4 years ago for the book value, I would have gotten what I wanted because 4 years ago, people were buying cars and lay offs were not happening.
You can find many performance/luxury cars or SUV’s for a cheap price these days.
It is a very good SUV in snow or offroad.
Just look up “Porsche Cayenne Top Gear “on youtube.
that would just be stupid to sell porshe for in my case alow price or it is probably a scam?!
Don’t trust ‘em, they’re lying or somethings wrong with it.
A Cayenne S, brand new will cost about $64K. This car will not depreciate $43K in one year. There must be something wrong, so do yourself a favor and walk away. Don’t even give it a small consideration.
As a 17 year old, you are not allowed to purchase vehicles. You must be 18 years old to legally sign a contract. Also, as a 17 year old, you probably can’t afford the insurance for a car like this.
You need to look for another car. Good luck!
taht it probably true, but that car I am 100% sure has ridicuously high mileage or has been in some type of abd accident or water damage, or electronic damge to be that cheap, not a good idea for a first car, too big and why do u need an SUV? are youg oign off roadign? if you do do you realize how much that porsche woudl cost to fix from rocks flying at the paint and other things, why do you NEED this car?
Just give them your parents credit card number and don’t worry about it…I’m sure everything will work out fine…what could possibly go wrong with that deal?
