I was looking to buy a Porsche Cayenne S 2005 and I was wondering what grade of gasoline should I or have to use for it. Can I go using one type of gas for a while then switch? It has 57500 miles on it if you needed to know. I would really appreciate some answers to this, thanks.

nothing lower than 91 octane… high performance cars need it… low octane would cause pinging and weaken the performance
Use whatever Porsche specifies for the engine. I am sure it is premium unleaded. Pretty much everything Porsche is high performance and their engines will need premium fuel for best performance.
From a Car And Driver long term test of the 05 Cayenne:

Whatever the specs say. Usually it says on the inside of the fuel filler door.
Using lower grade gas than recommended can run into knock issues and too high of grade is a waste of money.
Yes, the minimum grade will be listed on the inside of the filler door. However, my 911 says “Min 93 Octane;” something not available here in the western U.S. Check your owner’s manual. Mine says automatic compensation is built into the car for slightly lower grades.
In Salt Lake City, the best Premium gas is only 91 Octane. My car runs fine on it. Don’t put anything less than the best available into your Porsche.
Read all the others and simply put, nothing under the highest Ron 91-93 the top $$ range for best performance and MPG.
Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
