Yes, as long as you are on a hardened jack point. The cars are all designed with suitable jack points and most Porsches will have a few along each side. Most models will have a tube on the side that fits the factory jack – jacking under this, or with a jack pad that fits into it, is usually the best spot.
This should be specified in the owner’s manual (as well as shop manuals or similar publications) for your specific model.
Newer 911s — 993, 996, and 997 cars (1995 and up) — all have two jack points on either side. There is one behind the front wheel and one in front of the rear wheel. A standard floor jack works on these points, although it’s best to put a short piece (about 4″) of 2X4 flat on the jack’s pad to prevent the pad’s metal rim from contacting adjacent metal and plastic parts. Be careful to locate the jack precisely under the strengthened jack point. Jacking anywhere else, including off-center on the jack point can lead to very expensive repairs.
Older 911s had the tubes that the factory jack fit into. Some of the tubes were exposed on the outside of the car and had body-colored caps to cover them. If the car has any rust, you should be very careful of using these built-in tube jack points; they may collapse, being weakened by corrosion.
Other model Porsches will have similar jacking arrangements. If in doubt, watch your car being jacked at a shop and, if they’ll let you, look underneath to see exactly where they’ve placed the lift’s pads.
It is ok, because there are hard body points, but it is not recommended.
It is always better to use a real hydraulic rolling jack, that you can put under a frame ridge or suspension member.
Why?
Because a jack can always fall, the ground may not be solid, the car may roll, there is wind, etc.
Why use an emergency jack when it is not an emergency, and you can buy a nice rolling jack for $60?
And NEVER rotate tires!
I would not even ever have the same tires on the front as the back.
Rear tires need to be much larger than the fronts, have much more weight on them, require more linear traction, and are best as biased ply tires that resist roll.
While front tires need to be able to take much more lateral stress and roll, while carrying far less weight, so need to be radial ply.
And you can never switch sides either, because radials develop a direction of rotation, and should not be run in the opposite direction.
All rotating tires does is make it harder to align next time, and risk damage.

Anyone who uses an emergency jack for actual service, is simply a fool. It is not only dangerous to the body of the car and the emergency jack, but they could kill themselves as well. You should always use a better jack and jackstands if you can. And you always can for things like oil changes and tire rotation. So don’t use the emergency jack for that.

Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
