I want to install an aftermarket radio but i can’t figure out how to remove the stock one. Nothing has been removed yet, as I don’t know the correct procedure ( I don’t want to break anything ).

They will be hooked up to an alpine head-unit. Mostly looking for something that sounds crisp and clear, won’t distort at high volumes. Bass isn’t that important since its only the front doors, so something with good mids and highs. Price isn’t a factor, just want something good since its hard to find good 4×6’s.

The factory system is amplified. Is there a harness to buy to make the install easier and keep the factory amp?

Recently purchased a 1988 porsche 944 (Non turbo) and the previous owner cut the wire harness that connect the radio. No radio was ever hooked up. How can I distinguish what wire is what. Please assist.

I read something somewhere a while back that some inventor came up with a gaget that makes your car sound like a expensive sports car even though its a heap. I want one of these, where do I get one?
I think this thing plugs into your stereo and you just select the car you want to sound like. It guages your engine RPM somehow and the engine noise comes out through your speakers.
Found it in the search engines Jay and Jason Plugge were the inventors but I can’t find the product. Maybe it never came out.

the vehicle has an amplifier/subwoofer combo located under the spare tire but the amplifier i need to find is the one that plays the mids and tweeters in the truck

the vehicle has a bose system with the subwoofer/amp combo under the spare tire location. i need to find the location of the other bose amplifier for the midrange and tweeters of the system
