well im only 15 but i jsut sold a old porsche 912 and i have 12k now from wook and the car and i want to know what is a good tuner car to buy i want a 2 door rear wheel or all wheel drive car that i can put after markets on what kind of car should i get for a base and when i get more money what parts should i get plzs help

It would be a ’99 Boxster…the kid is pretty responsible, gets good grades and doesn’t get in trouble at school or home. IDK if we should or not especially since its a convertible and a manual transmission. Any advice?
It’s a HE and the car costs about 11 grand. that’s kind of expensive but he says it’ll be the only car he drives through high school and college.

What would be a good towcar to tow the Porsche 911 Carrera S on a trailer. It weighs 1500Kg. Does not really matter about price.

ok so me and my friend have been arguing everyday about which car is better/faster/0-60 test…etc..and he says that a a ford gt could smoke a carrera gt and it just a german made car that cost alot …and i say its the other around..so can i get some advice on which ones faster…and has the better accelaration…and if the porchse is just a car that cost to much.?

For some reason I love how Volkswagen cars are visually designed, and many Audi’s run on VW platforms. I love Porsche because mechanically, Porsche shares many Audi and VW components. BMW is such an amazingly POPULAR car though, but Mercedes-Benz has a more classy feel, even if it’s known for breaking down. What do you guys think?

I also like Porsche and Audi because Porsche is intending to have controlling interest in Volkswagen AG meaning it’ll own all of VW and Audi. I was thinking this could mean Porsche looking VW’s/Audi’s or Audi looking Porsches in th future….IDK

I’m wondering why you can’t take the body of a Porsche Cayman or any other nice car and put a more affordable V6 (or even less powerful) engine in it. I’m sure you can still design the engine so that it balances the car and does whatever other aerodynamic functions it does.

considering cars for my 16 year old boy

the cars the rest of the family drives is relevant i think when it comes to what he’ll expect:
me: ’08 aston martin db9 (175k) and a old honda civic for low-key drives
wife: ’07 porsche cayenne
daughter (19 years old): ’05 porsche carrera

personally i feel i can get him a mediocre car and he can take one of ours if he ever needs to impress

for all the kids out there, do u feel u need a car comparable to ur parent’s car or is it no big deal?

some starting ideas include: ’08 bmw 3 series, ’08 porsche boxster

any other ideas? price of car, insurance, and repairs no problem
