WTH!!
Why did the porsche engineers use alien wrench screws for the head of the engine. The last screw that i have stripped and am wondering is there any drill bit out there that wont go dull the second it touches this strong piece of German steel.

the gas, the car accelerated, like maybe a lame 85 V8 Camaro. Very mild acceleration. The ’80 928S was the ‘fastest’ car in the world in 1980, check it out, it won an award. 150mph or so.
I would expect more ‘junior’ from a car in this crowd. Was it that bad in 1984?
Sorry, “theee” it was the fastest and won the award for it, so you can stop trying to change history now.

I would wash it by hand using water, what type of soap do u recommend if any at all? I use microfiber towels. Also how often should I wax it? I use carnauba wax. Right now i wash once a week or if it gets really dirty, and I wax once a month

It does not slot into second as fluidly and smoothly as it should, and I feel a slight grating (no sound but a vibration through my hand) when changing up to third. No problems with downshifts. The car has done 75 000 miles and has not had gearbox oil or clutch changed ever. Clutch does not slip. Are there simple, cheap fixes that I could try, before contemplating a big gearbox repair?

I have a 1987 Porsche 924s. Today it gave out on me when I pushed the gas a little too hard on a stop sign. I had to put it in neutral to push it into a parking spot. So now the car can reverse but whenever I put it in drive the transmission spins but something doesn’t seem to catch. Is this going to cost me a fortune or is the car worth salvaging? If someone could give me an estimate along with a theory why the car isn’t working, i’d love them forever haha.
Well the car is an automatic, and it’s kind of stranded by my school. I assume I’d have to get it towed to an repair shop?
Also, I’ve already checked the gear selector and it’s working fine. The car is going into gear. Just a little bit more to help you help me.
Stay protected and outfitted while racing at the track. Racing shoes, suits, helmets, harness kits, gloves, and more.
