I’ve always wanted a porsche cayenne but most of the 08’s or 09s are too expensive for a first car. i found an 04 porsche cayenne S for around $22,000. what do you think about getting it as my first car? most of my friends cars are gonna be around $18,000 so this isnt too expensive.
also is the cayenne a good car in general?
if you’re gonna be rude, dont waste your time please.
thanks
PS i posted this question a while ago in the category for Porsche but i only got likee four answers so sorry if youre looking at the same question twice.

I am an active duty marine and I’m trying to get my porsche from MA to CA, a friend of mine has a Jeep Wrangler and we were gonna tow the porsche and just ride in the jeep and see the country as we went, but I called U-haul about getting a trailer thing to tow it and they said that I cant because the jeep doesnt have a hard top. Is there any other company out there to rent a trailer from? Is there any other way I can somehow get my car out to Cali without having to drive two vehicles? Any help would be appreciated.

Whenever I see a sports car, whether it be a 350z or a Porsche Boxster, I can’t help but look at the person driving the car. My opinion differs when I see old men driving a sports car, sometimes I think, well he probably deserves it by working hard. Other times I think, he should give that car to someone who would make more use of it (not that they couldn’t). And then there’s the picture of an old balding guy in a Porsche Boxster with a beautiful girl next to him….what do you think of that picture?

Hi, I am thinking on buying a Porsche Boxter. I am used to drive in automatic in fact I have never driven a manual transmission before. What would be the best way to learn to drive manual transmission for a car like this?.
I also heard they have them in automatic, can someone confirm this?, still I would like to know what the best way to learn to drive in manual would be for this car.

Since “front engine” cars have all of their weight in the front, this gives the vehicle a pivot point, and makes the rear easier to swing around. In a mid-engine car (such as a Porsche) the engine is in the center of the car. Due to the weight and balance being different than a front engine car, is is more difficult, or impossible to “drift” such a car…I guess I have the same question for a “rear engine” car as well (such as a ferrari or a lamborgini.
