where can I buy a Porsche Cayenne maintenance manual?

Thursday 11 March 2010 @ 8:05 pm
porsche

I need a 04 Porsche Cayenne maintenance manual, where can I beg, Buy, Borrow, or steal one?
Ebay is a great place to buy something that usually isn’t what you need. I would really like an address of a shop that has one, not just a go look here!

Yes, one that is a leftover would be fine, if there is a shop that has such “leftovers” I would love the address or phone.

Can the old frames be welded? Is it easier to buy replacement doors and repaint them?

Wednesday 3 March 2010 @ 6:19 am
porsche

I have a 1980 Porsche 924 and I was wondering if it were possible to change the speedometer from 85mph to a 160mph? And if so, any recommendations on which speedometer to buy that would be easy to install.

Thanks

Why do so many races and race “leagues” use Porsche 911’s’?

Tuesday 2 March 2010 @ 4:52 pm
porsche

I always hear that Porsche’s are technically off balance due to the motor being behind the rear axle. If this is true and I would assume causes a lot of oversteer, then how come in all types of races, you see an obscene amount of 911’s? You see some Ferrari’s and Corvettes, and BMW’s but nowhere near the amount of 911’s. Why is that?
